Upper eyelid

The upper eyelid is the upper portion of the eyelid that covers the upper part of the eyeball. It is composed of skin, muscle, and connective tissue, and it is responsible for protecting the eye and regulating the amount of light that enters the eye. The upper eyelid also plays an important role in facial expression and can be affected by conditions such as droopy eyelids or ptosis.
