Tympanic membrane (Also called eardrum.)

The tympanic membrane, also known as the eardrum, is a thin, cone-shaped membrane located in the middle ear. It separates the outer ear from the middle ear and vibrates in response to sound waves, which in turn, transmit the vibrations to the bones of the middle ear. The tympanic membrane plays a crucial role in hearing and is essential for the proper functioning of the ear.
