Finger Millet- A Possible Source of Human Nourishment and Health

Accessible for a significantly lower cost than other items, finger millet, the primary crop in human nutrition is regarded as a healthful diet for low-income populations. In Africa's West, East, and Great Lakes Regions, it is a reliable source of food. Furthermore, native to Ethiopia, it can withstand drought well. The chemical makeup of various finger millet types is crucial in determining which has a high nutritional value. Ethiopian research on the crop's chemical makeup is, however, lacking. This analysis evaluates the nutritional benefits, overall health, and application of finger millet in val- ue-added foods.
