Aims and Scope
Journal DOI: 10.33140/JCRR
The Journal of Clinical Rheumatology Research aims to support and advance clinical knowledge, diagnostic precision, and therapeutic strategies related to rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases. The journal provides an international platform for publishing high-quality research that enhances the understanding of chronic inflammatory, autoimmune, degenerative, and systemic connective tissue disorders.
Our goal is to facilitate the exchange of clinically relevant findings and research-based insights among healthcare professionals, researchers, and policymakers engaged in the care of patients with rheumatologic conditions. We welcome submissions from all regions and encourage contributions that reflect diversity in clinical approaches, population studies, and treatment outcomes.
The journal seeks to publish a wide range of article types, including original research, reviews, clinical trials, case series, short communications, technical reports, and viewpoints relevant to the following domains:
- Rheumatoid arthritis and juvenile idiopathic arthritis
- Spondyloarthropathies, including ankylosing spondylitis and psoriatic arthritis
- Systemic autoimmune diseases such as lupus, scleroderma, and vasculitis
- Osteoarthritis, crystal-induced arthropathies, and metabolic bone disease
- Pain syndromes including fibromyalgia and chronic regional pain disorders
- Diagnostic methods in clinical rheumatology, including serological and genetic markers
- Imaging technologies such as MRI, ultrasound, and PET scans in joint disease
- Rehabilitation, physiotherapy, and non-pharmacologic management of musculoskeletal disorders
- Biologics, small molecules, and immunomodulatory therapies
- Safety and effectiveness of pharmacologic interventions across diverse patient populations
- Clinical outcome measurement tools, quality of life metrics, and disease activity indices
- Rheumatology in special populations: paediatrics, geriatrics, and underserved communities
- Comorbidities and multi-system involvement in chronic rheumatologic disease
- Patient-reported outcomes and shared decision-making in treatment planning
- Epidemiology and public health perspectives on autoimmune and inflammatory diseases
- Health economics, access to care, and healthcare delivery in rheumatology
We prioritize studies that are clinically actionable, scientifically rigorous, and relevant to everyday patient care. Submissions that explore new or underreported complications, therapeutic strategies, or population-based disparities are especially encouraged.
The journal promotes a multidisciplinary approach and welcomes collaborative work that intersects with dermatology, nephrology, pulmonology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, and immunology, among other specialities.
By publishing peer-reviewed articles that reflect both innovation and clinical value, the Journal of Clinical Rheumatology Research contributes to a stronger understanding of rheumatic diseases and supports the ongoing improvement of healthcare outcomes worldwide.
