Immunology is a branch of medicine Biotechnology and biology that covers the medical study of immune systems in all organisms. The immune system produces immunoglobulins which act against the foreign proteins and microorganisms by producing antibodies against them, which protects human and animals from pathogenic effect of microorganisms and foreign proteins on them, sometimes immunity also produce antibodies against the self-proteins leading to destruction of body tissues known as autoimmunity that causes autoimmune diseases.
