A Clinical Review on Intellectual Disability

About 2.3% of the population has an intellectual disability. The diagnosis of this disability is based on medical history, personal ability, and adaptive function. More than 75% of people with intellectual disability are classified as having mild intellectual disability, while a small percentage of people with severe symptoms are classified as having severe intellectual disability or profound intellectual disability.
