New Methods in Portland Concrete & Structural Steel

In this paper, we cover a lot of ground in the science and engineering of Portland concrete and structural steel. We provide a new idea for a deteriorating bridge deck on a bridge. We suggest that the deck could make use of metal filings in place of rebar. Also, we show “why the physical and chemical strengthening of concrete are the way it is.” [1].
