Aims and Scope

Journal DOI: 10.33140/DJCLT

Dermatology Journal of Cosmetic and Laser Therapy publishes scholarly research related to clinical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, aesthetic medicine, and laser based dermatological procedures. The journal focuses on scientific and clinical investigations that examine the diagnosis, treatment, and management of skin conditions, with particular attention to cosmetic interventions, dermatologic procedures, and technologies used in aesthetic dermatology.

The journal accepts research addressing both medical and aesthetic aspects of dermatology. Studies examining skin physiology, dermatologic diseases, cosmetic treatments, and dermatologic laser technologies are appropriate for submission. Research related to minimally invasive cosmetic procedures, dermatologic surgery, and energy based therapeutic systems is also within the scope of the journal.

Dermatology Journal of Cosmetic and Laser Therapy publishes original research articles, clinical studies, experimental investigations, and analytical reports that contribute to improved understanding of dermatologic conditions and advancements in cosmetic and laser-based skin therapies.

Clinical Dermatology and Skin Disorders

The journal publishes research addressing diagnosis, clinical evaluation, and treatment of dermatologic diseases. Studies examining inflammatory skin disorders, pigmentary conditions, infectious skin diseases, and autoimmune dermatologic disorders are appropriate for submission.

Research examining acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo, melasma, and chronic inflammatory skin diseases is also relevant. Investigations addressing diagnostic techniques used in dermatology, including dermoscopy, histopathology, and clinical imaging systems, are also suitable topics.

Studies examining dermatologic manifestations of systemic diseases and dermatologic complications associated with medical therapies are also included within the scope of the journal.

Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine

The journal considers research related to cosmetic dermatology and aesthetic treatments used to improve skin appearance and structure. Studies examining non-surgical aesthetic procedures such as botulinum toxin therapy, dermal fillers, chemical peels, and skin rejuvenation techniques are appropriate for submission.

Research addressing anti-aging dermatology, wrinkle reduction therapies, and skin tightening procedures is also encouraged. Investigations examining facial aesthetic treatments, skin contouring procedures, and cosmetic dermatology treatment outcomes are also within the scope of the journal.

Studies addressing patient safety, procedural techniques, and clinical evaluation of cosmetic dermatologic treatments are also relevant topics.

Laser Dermatology and Energy Based Therapies

Laser technology has become an important component of dermatologic treatment. The journal publishes research addressing laser-based procedures used for dermatologic and cosmetic applications.

Studies examining laser treatments for vascular lesions, pigmentary disorders, scar revision, and hair removal are appropriate for submission. Research involving ablative and non-ablative laser technologies, fractional laser systems, and photothermolysis techniques is also encouraged.

Investigations addressing radiofrequency devices, intense pulsed light systems, and other energy based dermatologic therapies are also suitable topics.

Skin Rejuvenation and Dermatologic Procedures

The journal welcomes research addressing procedures used in skin rejuvenation and cosmetic dermatologic care. Studies examining microneedling, platelet rich plasma therapy, and collagen stimulation techniques are appropriate for submission.

Research addressing skin resurfacing procedures, chemical exfoliation treatments, and dermabrasion techniques is also encouraged. Investigations examining combination therapies involving lasers, injectable treatments, and topical dermatologic treatments are also relevant.

Studies examining clinical outcomes, long term treatment effects, and procedural safety in dermatologic practice are also within the scope of the journal.

Dermatologic Pharmacology and Topical Therapies

The journal publishes research addressing pharmacological treatments used in dermatology. Studies examining topical medications, dermatologic formulations, and transdermal drug delivery systems are appropriate for submission.

Research addressing retinoids, corticosteroids, immunomodulatory drugs, and antimicrobial treatments used in dermatologic practice is encouraged. Investigations examining pharmacological treatments used for acne, pigmentation disorders, and inflammatory skin diseases are also suitable topics.

Studies addressing cosmetic dermatologic formulations, cosmeceuticals, and dermatologic product development are also within the scope of the journal.

Dermatologic Surgery and Procedural Dermatology

The journal considers research addressing surgical and procedural approaches used in dermatologic practice. Studies examining minor dermatologic surgical procedures, lesion removal techniques, and surgical management of skin conditions are appropriate for submission.

Research addressing scar revision procedures, reconstructive dermatologic surgery, and treatment of skin tumors is encouraged. Investigations examining surgical instruments, procedural techniques, and patient outcomes in dermatologic surgery are also relevant topics.

Studies examining minimally invasive dermatologic procedures and outpatient dermatologic surgical systems are also suitable for publication.

Skin Biology and Dermatologic Research

The journal publishes research addressing biological mechanisms underlying skin structure and function. Studies examining epidermal biology, dermal tissue physiology, and cellular mechanisms involved in skin regeneration are appropriate for submission.

Research addressing skin barrier function, pigmentation biology, and inflammatory mechanisms in skin disease is encouraged. Investigations examining wound healing processes, collagen metabolism, and dermal matrix biology are also suitable topics.

Studies exploring molecular pathways involved in dermatologic diseases and cosmetic dermatology treatments are also within the scope of the journal.

Dermatologic Imaging and Diagnostic Technologies

The journal welcomes research addressing diagnostic technologies used in dermatology. Studies examining dermoscopy, confocal microscopy, optical coherence tomography, and other dermatologic imaging techniques are appropriate for submission.

Research addressing digital dermatology platforms, diagnostic imaging analysis, and artificial intelligence-based skin analysis systems is also encouraged.
