Aims and Scope

Journal DOI: 10.33140/IJCRT

International Journal of Cancer Research & Therapy is an international peer reviewed open access journal dedicated to publishing scientific research related to cancer biology, oncology, clinical cancer treatment, and therapeutic developments aimed at improving cancer diagnosis and patient outcomes. The journal provides a platform for oncologists, biomedical researchers, clinical investigators, pathologists, and healthcare professionals working in cancer research and cancer therapy.

The journal focuses on studies that investigate the biological mechanisms of cancer, molecular pathways involved in tumor development, diagnostic methods for early detection of cancer, and therapeutic approaches used in clinical oncology. Research addressing experimental cancer biology, clinical trials, cancer treatment technologies, and translational oncology research is appropriate for publication.

International Journal of Cancer Research & Therapy welcomes original research articles, review papers, clinical investigations, experimental studies, case reports, and interdisciplinary research that contribute to the understanding of cancer development and the improvement of cancer treatment strategies.

Cancer Biology and Tumor Pathogenesis

The journal publishes research addressing the biological mechanisms underlying cancer development and progression. Studies examining cellular transformation, genetic mutations, oncogene activation, tumor suppressor gene alterations, and signalling pathways involved in tumor growth are appropriate for submission.

Research exploring molecular mechanisms of carcinogenesis, tumor microenvironment interactions, and cellular processes such as apoptosis, cell proliferation, and metastasis is also within the scope of the journal. Investigations addressing epigenetic modifications, genomic instability, and molecular drivers of tumor progression are encouraged.

Studies examining the interaction between cancer cells and surrounding tissues, immune system responses to tumors, and mechanisms of cancer metastasis are also suitable topics for publication.

Clinical Oncology and Cancer Diagnosis

The journal welcomes research addressing clinical aspects of cancer diagnosis and patient management. Studies involving early detection of cancer, diagnostic imaging technologies, biomarker identification, and screening programs for cancer detection are appropriate for publication.

Research examining clinical features of different cancer types, patient outcomes, and treatment planning strategies is also encouraged. Investigations evaluating diagnostic accuracy, laboratory tests used for cancer detection, and advances in diagnostic technologies are relevant to the journal.

Studies addressing cancer epidemiology, disease prevalence, and risk factors associated with cancer development are also considered.

Cancer Treatment and Therapeutic Strategies

The journal publishes research related to therapeutic approaches used in cancer treatment. Studies examining chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgical oncology procedures, targeted therapy, and combination treatment strategies are appropriate for submission.

Research addressing the development of new anticancer drugs, the evaluation of therapeutic effectiveness, and clinical trials assessing cancer treatment protocols is also within the scope of the journal.

Investigations examining emerging therapies such as immunotherapy, hormone therapy, gene-based treatments, and personalized cancer therapy approaches are encouraged.

Molecular Oncology and Translational Cancer Research

Advances in molecular biology have contributed significantly to cancer research. The journal welcomes studies addressing molecular oncology, cancer genomics, proteomics, and molecular diagnostic technologies.

Research examining genetic markers associated with cancer development, biomolecular pathways involved in tumor progression, and molecular targeted therapies is appropriate for publication. Studies involving translational research that connect laboratory discoveries with clinical cancer treatment are also encouraged.

Investigations exploring molecular biomarkers used for predicting treatment response and monitoring disease progression are also suitable topics for submission.

Cancer Prevention and Public Health

The journal also considers research addressing cancer prevention strategies and public health initiatives aimed at reducing cancer incidence. Studies examining environmental factors, lifestyle risk factors, and genetic predispositions associated with cancer development are appropriate.

Research involving screening programs, preventive healthcare interventions, and population-based cancer control programs is also welcomed.

Studies addressing health education, cancer awareness programs, and community-based cancer prevention initiatives are also relevant topics for the journal.

Article Types

International Journal of Cancer Research & Therapy publishes original research articles, review papers, clinical studies, laboratory investigations, experimental cancer biology research, case reports, perspectives, short communications, and conference proceedings related to cancer research and oncology.

Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts presenting experimental findings, clinical research data, diagnostic studies, or therapeutic evaluations that contribute to advances in oncology and cancer treatment.
