Aims and Scope

Journal DOI: 10.33140/CRSM

Current Research in Statistics & Mathematics is an international peer reviewed open access journal that publishes scholarly research related to statistical science, mathematical theory, computational mathematics, and quantitative analytical methods. The journal provides an academic platform for mathematicians, statisticians, data scientists, and researchers working in theoretical mathematics, applied mathematics, statistical modelling, and quantitative research methods.

The journal considers contributions that present theoretical developments, methodological innovations, analytical studies, and computational techniques related to mathematics and statistical sciences. Research addressing both fundamental mathematical theory and practical applications of statistical analysis across scientific disciplines is appropriate for publication.

Current Research in Statistics & Mathematics welcomes original research articles, review papers, methodological studies, computational investigations, and analytical reports that contribute to advancements in statistical theory, mathematical modelling, and quantitative research methodologies.

Mathematical Theory and Pure Mathematics

The journal publishes research addressing mathematical theory and foundational studies in pure mathematics. Topics may include algebraic structures, number theory, topology, geometry, mathematical analysis, and mathematical logic.

Studies investigating differential equations, functional analysis, measure theory, complex analysis, real analysis, and abstract algebra are appropriate for submission. Research exploring theoretical mathematical frameworks and analytical structures that support scientific and engineering applications is also considered.

Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Modelling

The journal welcomes studies addressing applied mathematical techniques used in engineering, physics, economics, biological systems, environmental science, and technological research.

Research involving mathematical modelling of complex systems, nonlinear dynamics, optimisation techniques, numerical analysis, and computational mathematics is encouraged. Studies examining differential equations, numerical solutions, and simulation models used to represent physical, biological, or economic systems are within the scope of the journal.

Statistical Theory and Statistical Methodology

The journal considers research addressing statistical inference, probability theory, stochastic processes, statistical estimation techniques, hypothesis testing methods, and statistical modelling frameworks.

Studies involving regression analysis, multivariate statistics, time series analysis, Bayesian statistics, nonparametric statistics, and statistical learning methods are appropriate topics for submission.

Data Science and Computational Statistics

Research involving computational statistics, data analysis techniques, algorithm development, machine learning methods, and statistical computing is encouraged. Studies examining data mining techniques, predictive modelling, big data analytics, and statistical algorithms used in scientific and industrial applications are relevant to the journal.

Investigations involving programming methods for statistical analysis, simulation techniques, and computational data processing are also appropriate.

Interdisciplinary Statistical Applications

The journal publishes research applying statistical and mathematical methods in fields such as economics, finance, engineering, environmental science, health sciences, and social sciences.

Studies involving econometrics, financial mathematics, biostatistics, actuarial science, operations research, and quantitative risk analysis are also considered.
