Dr.Y. Thiagarajan (Bibliography) Mentor of Change - ATAL Innovation Mission, Volunteer ID:202200105 ? Vidyanjali-Higher Education Program (Govt.of India MHRD Initiative). I have received my Undergraduate Degree (UG) in Electrical Engineering and the Masters degree (ME) in Power Electronics and Drives. I have completed my Ph.D. in the Fuel cell from Annamalai University, India. I have 15years of Teaching and Research experience. ? Currently, I am working as Associate Professor cum Head of the Department for Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Christ College of Engineering and Technology, Puducherry, India. ? BOS member and Annamalai University Question Paper setter and Evaluator. ? Recipient of Award Received (out of 60 Nomination) : Best Faculty Award 2019, Tamilnadu, India ? Awarded by Vasavi International Trust. ? CSIR SRTP NEST 2020- Selected as a Mentor (period: May?August 2020). ? Received One Indian Patent Grant, One Australian Innovation Patent Grant and One copyright Grant. ? I am serving as Editorial Board Member, Reviewer and Member of various reputed Journals, which include (Elsevier Journal) Energy Conversion and Management ISSN: 0196-8904., FACETS ENGINEERING JOURNAL, Canadian Science Publishing Asian Power Electrocnis Journal. ? Research Interest

The impressive development over the last few decades in the arena of renewable energy turns up to nurture the new and innovative methodologies. Globally most of the energy has been derived from fossil fuels like oil, gas and coal which are progressively running to be out. Moreover, by using this fuel the earth?s environment gets affected by the way of air pollution, toxic gas emission and global warming. As engineers, we should take care about our future generations and need to explore the possibility of switching over to cleaner and greener fuel options for the generation of electrical energy. In the recent past, researchers have turned their review towards the Microbial fuel cell (MFC). MFC produces energy by using variety of bio degradable substrates as fuels at low operating cost. These systems are very adaptable and holds good to provide energy in a sustainable nature.
