The health benefits of fruits and vegetables are widely marketed. Fruit and vegetable-rich diets are highly recommended for their ability to promote health. They have historically held a place in phytochemicals, especially antioxidants. Fruits and vegetables are essential sources of dietary fiber and micronutrients and are a part of a balanced diet that aids in illness prevention.
