Author(s): Oksana S. Dmitrieva*, Yulia V. Arzhankova and Tatyana I. Skoptsova
The study is devoted to the study of age differences in the radius of curvature of the anterior and posterior surfaces of the cornea of the left and right eyeballs of chicken embryos on the 10th-20th day of incubation. The left eyeball is characterized by a predominantly large radius of curvature of the anterior surface of the cornea. The superiority was revealed on the following days of incubation: 11th (2.84%), 12th (1.82%), 13th (2.98%, p0.05), 14th (3.30%, p0.05), 15th (0.21%), 16th (1.23%), 17th (0.40%) and 18th (0.79%). The superiority of the left eyeball in the radius of curvature of the posterior surface of the cornea was noted on the 10th (64.00%), 12th (20.45%), 13th (18.97%), 15th (8.51%), 16th (11.82%), 18th (2.80%) incubation day. Studies demonstrate a dynamic change in the curvature of the cornea, reflecting both temporary asymmetries and su.. Read More»
