A Few Words About Kidney Damage

Kidney damage can be detected early and simply by urine and blood tests and blood pressure measurements. About one in ten adults has some form of kidney disease. It can develop at any age, and chronic kidney disease is becoming more common with increasing age. The kidneys are an extremely important organ for the health of the whole organism. About 200 liters of blood are purified daily. The kidneys remove waste material that is excreted in the urine.
