A Novel Cell Culture Scratch Assay Platform Generates Reproducible Gaps for Quantitative Cell Movement-Based Studies

Scratch assays are routinely performed for multiple research applications in cell biology (i.e., migration, metastasis, repair mechanisms, etc.). Conventional scratches are usually generated with pipette tips. User inconsistencies and varying pipette tips are major obstacles to reproducibility and quantitative power.
