Need-Based Holistic Treatments for Endometriosis in Women

Endometriosis is a debilitating disease that affects approximately 200 million women across the globe [1]. There are numerous difficulties in assessing the number of women who suffer from this disease including insufficient diagnostics, under-reporting, and the lack of recognition of chronic pain in women. Although some mainstream treatments exist, which are considered to be “traditional” such as pharmaceuticals aimed at hormone control and pain reduction, there is no one-size-fits all approach that works for all women, and as of now, there is no known cure for the disease. This paper aims to share other potential treatments for endometriosis and similar female reproductive diseases which cause chronic pain.
