Pathologic Profil, Management of Resources and Quality of Care at The Orthopedic Surgery Department of The Central Hospital of Yaounde

Introduction: According to the World Health Organization (WHO), an effective healthcare system must provide quality care for all, which requires regular assessments. In Cameroon, evaluating the quality of orthopedic care is essential due to the growing demand for these services. Objective: Assess the quality of care in the Orthopedic Unit at the Yaounde Central Hospital, describe the pathological profile, and evaluate resources. Methodology: A situational analysis was conducted in the orthopedic surgery department of the Central Hospital of Yaounde (CHY) in 2023, over an 8-month period.
