Cumulative Secondary Dysautonomia, Recovery Trajectories, and Clinical Recovery Flags An Integrated Framework for Longitudinal Autonomic Assessment Linking BRR Theory, MSAD, ALAS/ALI, the Recovery-Weighted Model, RWCAM, and Clinical Recovery Flags
Author(s): Bruce H. Knox*
Background: Autonomic assessment is often organised around the clinical snapshot: the symptom score, haemodynamic result, laboratory severity grade, or diagnosis visible at one encounter. These measurements are essential, but they may not reconstruct the cumulative pathway by which multifactorial secondary dysautonomia developed, show how resilience and reserve shaped its expression, distinguish restoration from compensation, or represent asynchronous recovery across organ systems. Problem: Existing tools measure autonomic symptoms, laboratory-confirmed failure, or defined haemodynamic syndromes. No single established approach represented in the literature considered here combines the chronology of multiple secondary contributors, changing adaptive capacity, eight-domain autonomic burden, evidentiary confidence, recovery direction, recovery ..
