  Tumor Lysis Syndrome in a Patient with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Following Induction Chemotherapy: A Case Report

  We report the case of a 35-year-old male with recently diagnosed acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) who presented with confusion and dyspnea following his first cycle of induction chemotherapy. Clinical assessment revealed a constellation of findings including hyperkalemia, hyperuricemia, elevated lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), and metabolic acidosis consistent with tumor lysis syndrome (TLS). The patient also exhibited signs of acute kidney injury (AKI), septic shock, and severe anemia.
