Increasing prevalence and visibility of autism in the past two decades has led to a surge in the creation and application of a variety of interventions. In particular, sensory based strategies have become one of the main therapies with individuals on the autistic spectrum, as the estimates of sensory processing disorder incidence for persons with autism ranges from 42% to 95% [1-3].
