Nanomedicine has revolutionised healthcare by providing precise, targeted and controlled approaches for drug and gene delivery. This paper reviews recent advancements in nanomaterial applications for gene and drug delivery, focusing on key technologies such as CRISPR/Cas9 and mRNA vaccines. It explores their use in smart drug delivery systems targeting cancer, neurological disorders, and regenerative medicine, including the innovative concept of nanorobots.
