A simple, accurate, precise, rapid, economical and sensitive Ultra violet spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of Vincristine Sulfate in pharmaceutical preparations, spiked human Blood plasma, and environmental wastewater samples, which shows maximum absorbance at 296 nm in distilled water. Beer's law was obeyed in the range of 5-40 μg /ml, with molar absorptivity of 1.172x104 L.mol-1.cm-1, relative standard deviation of the method was less than 1.3%, and accuracy (average recovery %) was 100 ± 1.0. The Sandal’s sensitivity of the colored complex is 78.74 ng/cm2 and LOD ,LOQ are,0.01575,0.052 ng/cm2 respectively .The method was successfully applied to the determination of Vincristine Sulfate in pharmaceutical formulations (Injection =Vincristine sulfate 1mg / ml ),Biological blood samples and Industrial Wastewater samples. The proposed method was validated by sensitivity and precision which proves suitability for the routine analysis of Vincristine Sulfate in true samples.
