In the discussion that follows it is expected that the reader is familiar with elementary concepts of Set Theory such as sets, elements of a set, the curly bracket notation, belonging relation, subsets of a set, equality of two sets, union and intersection operations and complement of a set. With these elementary ideas, we now start the discussion of a topic that will take us to study 'Binary Relations'.
