Briefly about Dna Viruses

A virus is defined by its use of DNA as genetic material and relies on DNA-dependent DNA polymerase during its replication process. The genetic material in these viruses can be either double-stranded (dsDNA) or single-stranded (ssDNA). According to the Baltimore classification system, DNA viruses fall into Class I (dsDNA viruses) or Class II (ssDNA viruses). For most of these viruses to replicate, they must enter the host nucleus since they depend on the host cell's DNA polymerases to replicate their viral genome.
