Applied Closed-Loop CapitalAllocation: Diagnostic Protocols for Boards, Banks, Investors, Governance, Risk, and Management Quality
Abstract
Hany Hassanien Badr
This companion volume develops Applied Closed-Loop Capital Allocation as a practical financial-radiology system for diagnosing the firm as a living capital engine. It connects operating invested capital, ROIC, WACC, WACE, EVA, DCF, FCFF, FCFE, residual income, cash conversion, leverage quality, terminal value, and management discipline into a single decision architecture. The central proposition is that investment, credit, governance, and risk decisions become more reliable when financial outputs are notread as isolated ratios but as mutually checking evidence within the capital- return-income-cash-flow-value loop.
The article is organized as a structured set of diagnostic protocols. Each protocol defines the diagnostic object, the mechanism being tested, the evidence required, the decision use, and the warning signal that indicates structural weakness. The result is a practical framework for capital allocation, borrower assessment, board oversight, peer ranking, product-line approval, and institutional monitoring.
