Abstract
Introduction: Urinary tract infections (UTI) are the most common worldwide and Pseudomonas aeruginosa is responsible for about 7 to 10% of all UTIs. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that we can treat UTI caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa without using any kind of antibiotics in this new global immunodeficiency caused by energy deficiency inside the five internal massive organs of the Five Elements theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Method: A case report of an 86-year-old female diabetic patient with reduced weight. She did not want to eat and suffered from anal prolapse. She was admitted to the hospital due to a urinary tract infection caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa, probably induced by the constant use of antibiotics as in her last admittance to the hospital 30 days previously. She had used many kinds of antibiotics such as Meropenem, Imipenem and Colistin without any good results. Her daughter called me to ask for another form of treatment instead of using antibiotics. I treated her vital energy alterations (vital energy deficiency in her five massive organs, the Liver, Heart, Spleen, Lungs and Kidneys, characteristics of people in this new global immunodeficiency), using highly diluted medications according to the theory of Constitutional Homeopathy of the Five Elements Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as crystal-based medications and also Pseudomonas aeruginosa biotherapy where the pharmacist made a highly diluted medication at 200CH from Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria.
Results: The next urine culture came negative for Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and the patient continued using these medications to prevent other infections, as well as to replenish the vital energy of her organs to prevent more formation of internal Fire (inflammation). The conclusion of this study demonstrates that we can treat a multi-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection without using any kind of antibiotics, as we only treat the vital energy deficiency situation eliminating the formation of internal Fire, which was the real cause of the adherence of the bacteria in the bladder.

Introduction
In recent decades, the occurrence of hospitalized patients colonized or infected by multidrug-resistant microorganisms has received attention from Hospital Infection Control Committees (HICCs) and health services. It is worth adding that the rate of these infections represents one of the quality indicators in health care, highlighting its impact in terms of morbidity, mortality and costs [1].
Global reports have documented the problem of endemicity of clinical isolates of multidrug-resistant (MDR) Pseudomonas aeruginosa coupled with high morbidity/mortality rates. In Brazil, outbreaks of infection caused by P. aeruginosa have been linked to a clonal dissemination of the species [2].
Currently, therapeutic options for treating infections caused by this microorganism are limited, often restricted to the use of carbapenems. Thus, resistance to IPM is a public health issue, since this antibiotic is used as a last resort in the treatment of hospital-acquired infections caused by multidrug-resistant Gram-negative bacteria [2].
The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that multi-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa in urinary tract infection can be treated without the use of antibiotics, in this case, the use of carbapenem.
Methods
Through a case report of an 89-year-old female diabetic patient, in treatment for Alzheimer disease, who usually had recurrent urinary tract infections that normally were treated with antibiotics such as monoril and macrodantin. She also used anti-hypoglycemic medication and insulin to control her diabetes. She was admitted in the hospital due to diarrhea, and antibiotics were used to treat this condition. The symptoms improved and she was discharged from the hospital. After 15 days, she began to have fever and mental confusion and her daughter took her to hospital again, and they asked for a urine test and uroculture which came back showing multi-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa. She was admitted again and received carbapenem endovenously for 15 days and at the end of this treatment, her uroculture continued to be positive for multi¬resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Her daughter called an infectious disease doctor specialized in hospital infection who has a Chinese medicine background, asking to her about the possibility to treat her condition using another type of treatment. The doctor asked her to stop the antibiotics and begin to use some homeopathy medications.
Results
After two weeks of treatment using only homeopathy medications, her daughter did another urine culture that showed negative for Pseudomonas aeruginosa and the urine culture kept negative for more than 6 months after this treatment. The author will explain the mechanism of action used in this treatment in the discussion section.
Discussion
The reasoning used in this article follows from Hippocrates (c. 460 BC – c. 370 BC) the father of medicine, who said that “it is important to consider other ancient medical traditions, prior to the knowledge we have nowadays” [3].
For this reason, I chose to write this article using the reasoning of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which has existed for more than 5 thousand years, to explain how we can treat urinary tract infections caused by multi-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa, without the use of antibiotics [4].
Hippocrates (c. 460 BC – c. 370 BC), in another quote, said that “we need to treat the patient and not the disease the patient has” [3].
To explain how we can cure patients with multiresistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection, without using any kind of antibiotics, we need to understand that, before the formation of the disease, there are vital energy alterations inside the body, that modern Western medicine cannot explain, because after the implementation of the Flexner report in 1910, sponsored by the Rockefeller foundation and Carnegie, they implanted in all medical schools in North America and Canada, what they considered to be “scientific” proof at the laboratory and radiological level. And all aspects that cannot be seen by the naked eye, shall be considered “non-scientific” [5].
However, our body is formed of energy, as said by Albert Einstein (1879–1955), the most famous physicist in the world. He affirmed that all things in the universe are composed of energy, including human beings. [6, 7].
To explain the formation of disease, from the viewpoint of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I usually use the metaphor of a tree ( Figure 1), where I demonstrate that the disease is only the leaf level of the tree, and the cause of the formation of that disease is usually not at the leaf level, but in the root of the tree, which is usually invisible to the naked eye and not studied by the modern physician, a result of the alteration of medical curriculum in the medical faculties, after the implementation of the Flexner report in 1910 [5].
Figure 1: Tree-like figure to demonstrate the level of diagnosis and treatment among Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
In Figure 1, you can see that the tree is divided into two parts, the part under the earth and the part above the earth. The part under the earth is where the vital energy of the human being is flowing and for the leaves to be healthy, there has to be an equilibrium between these energies under the earth. In this part, there are two theories in Traditional Chinese Medicine, that are the cornerstones of most treatments nowadays. The first theory is Yin and Yang, symbolized by the Figure 2 [8].
Figure 2: Yin and Yang symbol
Yin and Yang are two energies produced by the Kidneys, that are opposites but complementary and they exist in many things in this universe such as day and night, sun and moon, male and female, summer and winter, etc [8].
The disequilibrium between these two energies, can generate diseases at the leaf level of this tree, as you can see in Figure 3.
Figure 3: Disequilibrium between Yin and Yang.
The aim of the majority of treatments is to return the equilibrium between these two energies, as you can see in the first column of Figure 3. When we have a disequilibrium between them, it can generate disease at the leaf level of this tree, with several symptoms. According to traditional Chinese medicine, there are many diseases that have the same energy imbalances. There are also, many energy imbalances, that can generate the same disease [4].
For Yin and Yan to circulate inside the body, there is the necessity to have two more energies, that are Qi and Blood, as you can see in Figure 4.

Figure 4: The interrelationship between Yin, Yang, Qi and Blood
When there is any deficiency in one or a combination of deficiencies among these four energies, the body begins to form an internal Fire, as you can see in Figure 5 [9].

Figure 5: Formation of internal Fire when there is a deficiency in one or more energies, shown in Figure 4.
This is the cause of formation of any kind of infectious disease, in this case, urinary tract infection, at the energy level, because to have adherence of bacteria in the bladder, there has to be the formation of this internal Fire in the background and if you take out this internal Fire using traditional Chinese medicine methods, such as auricular acupuncture with apex ear bloodletting, Chinese dietary counseling, and Chinese herbal therapy, as well as homeopathy, the patient can be cured because we are removing the energy alterations important in the adherence of the bacteria in the Bladder [9].
All these explanations in how we can use all these tools to treat urinary tract infections without using any antibiotics can be found in the article written by Huang (2020), titled Energies Alterations and Chakras Energies Deficiencies as the Main Cause of Recurrent Urinary Tract Infection Resistant to Antibiotics Treatments [9].
In this particular case, where the patient had an urinary tract infection caused by an unusual bacteria, considered to be a hospital infection because it was acquired in the hospital after using so many kinds of antibiotics to treat another condition, caused by multi-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa, the author used the same kind of reasoning used to treat common urinary tract infections without using any kind of antibiotics, because the patient had the same energy alterations that were causing urinary tract infections, as the author showed in many articles written by herself about this subject [9].
The formation of internal Fire in this new type of population that we are presenting nowadays, is caused by the lack of energy inside the five internal massive organs (Liver, Heart, Spleen, Lungs and Kidneys),as you can see on Figure 6, caused by the influences of the chronic exposition to 4G and 5G technology [10-12].
Figure 6: Energy deficiency inside the five internal massive organs at the chakras’ energy centers.
So, the correction of all these alterations at the energy level and replenishing the energy of these organs using highly diluted medications according to the theory created by the author in 2015, when she began her homeopathy course in Brazil, titled Constitutional Homeopathy of the Five Elements Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, showed in Figure 7, are very important in treating the cause of the infection itself and not just treating the symptoms [13].
Figure 7: Homeopathy medications to treat the energy deficiency of each internal massive organ (Liver, Heart, Spleen, Lungs and Kidneys).
When the body has the formation of internal Fire, the physician needs to know if this internal Fire is caused by energy deficiency or by excessive energy inside the body [4].
As nowadays, the majority or 100% of the population in this globe are in the condition of a lack of vital energy instead of excessive energy, independent of their age or diagnosis, the cause of the formation of this internal Fire is in most cases due to energy deficiency and not excessive energy [12].
The application of biotherapy using the bacteria that is causing the disease, was formulated through the theory created by Samuel Hahnemann, who said that we will use the product that it is inducing the disease, however, in a highly diluted form [14].
In this case, I used the highly diluted Pseudomonas aeruginosa homeopathy, and also used Mercurius solubilis, which is a medication that can reduce the internal Fire, causing a reduction in the formation of this internal Fire, causing more difficulty for the bacteria to adhere to the bladder, curing the patient’s infectious condition without using antibiotics [12].
The use of antibiotics to treat urinary tract infection can reduce even more the internal vital energy, which is already very low in this new type of population that we are treating nowadays, and causes more formation of internal Fire, leading to maintaining the symptoms and the adherence of the bacteria in the bladder. For this reason, the patient did not improve her symptoms, and the urine culture never came back negative [9].
The use of antibiotics nowadays, in this new type of population that we are facing these days, is not recommended because if the population has no vital energy, the symptoms of infection are caused in most cases, by this formation of internal Fire, and therefore antibiotics are not necessary [9].
Chinese dietary counseling was also used, with the avoidance of some kinds of foods such as chocolate, fried foods, eggs, honey, coconut, alcoholic beverages, and melted cheese, because all these foods can increase the formation of internal Fire inside the body, maintaining the infectious symptoms and making the patient’s improvement difficult [9,15].
The patient also received the orientation to not use any dairy products and drink any Cold beverages, as this causes more vital energy deficiency in the Spleen, leading to less Blood production, increasing in this case, the formation of internal Fire, and worsening the symptoms [9].
To understand how can we treat urinary tract infection caused by multiresistant nosocomial Pseudomonas aeruginosa without using antibiotics, we need to integrate the knowledge of Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine, and to know how diseases are formed at the energy level, at the root level of the tree, as seen in Figure 8 [12].
Figure 8: The integration of Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine with the knowledge necessary to improve the symptoms of urinary tract infection caused by multiresistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa, without the use of any kind of antibiotics.
The conclusion of this study is to show that we can treat urinary tract infections caused by multi-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa without the use of antibiotics. For this aim, we must integrate the knowledge of Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine in the treatment, to understand what could be happening at the deepest level, treating the vital energy alterations that lead to urinary tract infection symptoms caused by multi-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections. Furthermore, Chinese dietary counseling should be used as well as auricular acupuncture with apex ear bloodletting, and homeopathy according to the theory of Constitutional Homeopathy of the Five Elements Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, where we treat the root cause that was forming the internal Fire. Just treating the symptoms is not enough, as can be seen nowadays, in most cases of common and hospital urinary tract infections, where just the symptoms are being treated, and not the causes, which stem from the vital energy deficiency in the five internal massive organs of the Five Elements Theory of the Traditional Chinese Medicine. The importance in following the knowledge of Hippocrates, the father of medicine, who said that “it is more important to treat the patient and not the disease the patient has”, is confirmed in this article. When you treat only the symptoms, you cannot treat the disease. Only when you treat the patient holistically, you can then treat the entire person, and the symptoms will improve accordingly.
