Biography
My name is Dr. Vignesh Gunasekaran, and I am currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Neonatology at the West Virginia University School of Medicine, USA. I am board-certified in both ABP Pediatrics and ABP Neonatal Perinatal Medicine. As an early-career faculty member, I am deeply committed to advancing my academic journey and contributing meaningfully to the scientific community. One of the avenues through which I have been actively involved is peer review. To date, I have reviewed approximately 40 manuscripts for various journals and evaluated around 120 abstracts for the Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) conferences. Additionally, I have served as a judge for poster sessions at my institution and for the Eastern Society of Pediatric Research (ESPR), where I also had the privilege of moderating sessions during the most recent conference. I have always aspired to be part of a journal?s editorial team, as I believe it offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with fellow academics, uphold the integrity of scientific publishing, and contribute to the dissemination of high-quality research. I would be honored to bring my experience, enthusiasm, and dedication to your esteemed journal. I would love to be a part of the editorial team of the Journal of Pediatrics and Neonatal Biology. Thank you for considering my interest. I would be happy to provide any additional information or documentation you may require.
