Dr. Omer Karrar is a dedicated researcher in the field of hematology, focusing on malignant blood disorders. He is currently a research fellow at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he focuses on clinical outcomes for patients with leukemia. Previously, he worked as a research fellow at the Mayo Clinic, contributing to studies on leukemia therapies, genetic signatures, and treatment outcomes. His research has enhanced the understanding of venetoclax-based therapies, genetic mutations in blood cancers, and treatment-related side effects.
