Biography
I hold a Ph.D. (Engg) in Biochemical Engineering from the world-renowned IIT BHU, Varanasi, India. I focused on food science, toxicology, and risk assessment throughout my academic journey. My coursework provided me with a solid foundation in evaluating the safety of food additives, analyzing exposure levels, and understanding their potential health effects. I have also gained hands-on experience through my involvement in various research projects and internships, where I conducted studies on food additives' impact on human health and their regulatory implications. In my professional career, I have actively contributed to the advancement of food safety practices. As a lecturer in dept. of food processing technology at MMGP govt. College, India, I have been involved in designing and implementing risk assessment protocols, evaluating food safety regulations, and advising regulatory bodies on the establishment of safe exposure limits for food additives. During my tenure at FSSAI, New Delhi, India the apex body of govt, I have developed a strong understanding of international food safety standards and regulations body of govt. of India including those set by the FAO and WHO.
