Scientific Words in Bioinformatics & Systems Biology

System biology and bioinformatics are linked and multidisciplinary concepts. While systems biology uses computational and mathematical models to analyze the complex interactions occurring within biological systems in a holistic way, bioinformatics uses computational and mathematical models to document the functioning of molecular biology and genetics. Systems biology is essentially biological study, which is important for comprehending biological processes, discovering new drugs, and effectively delivering those drugs when biological systems experience problems. In silico analysis of biological data and computerized interpretation of that data are made possible by bioinformatics, which integrates and uses the theoretical and practical knowledge of statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, and biology. This data can then be used for future applications.
