Scientific Words in Biochemistry

The study of the structures, functions, and interactions of biological macromolecules, such as proteins, nucleic acids, carbohydrates, and lipids, which give cells their structure and carry out many of the activities that make life possible, is known as biochemistry. The human and animal bodies include chemistry, without which certain crucial bodily processes would not be possible. The biological system's enzymes and fluids serve a critical part in maintaining our health by making the food we eat pulpable and digestible. Our bodies' metabolic processes disassemble the food we eat in order to chemically extract the proteins and minerals.
