Dengue virus infections have become a major public health con- cern in Malaysia. Dengue is now hyperendemic in Malaysia with all four Dengue virus (DENV) serotypes co-circulating with fluc- tuations of the dominant serotypes over time and location [1, 2, 3]. The purpose of the present study is to estimate the seroprevalence of dengue virus infection by detection of DENV-specific NS1 an- tigen, DENV-specific IgG and IgM antibodies in a healthy adult population. The study hopes to identify populations previously infected with dengue, and determine the potential risk factors as- sociated with seropositivity of DENV infection.
