Results: Dental optical properties significantly impact forensic applications, aiding in age estimation, individual identification, and postmortem cases.

Conclusion: Understanding the role of oro-dental tissue optical properties enhances forensic investigations, supporting identification and medico-legal decision-making. Standardization and further research will advance their forensic applications.
