Cavernous sinus thrombosis (CST) is a rare, life-threatening condition that arises from infections in the head and neck. In this article, we present a rare case of septic CST as a primary presentation of paranasal sinusitis.

Furthermore, the anatomy of the cavernous sinus, etiologies of CST, and how to approach CST will be highlighted. In addition, the role of anticoagulants is emphasized after reviewing the literature.
