Synthetic biology has become a boon for modern biotechnologist to manipulate the metabolism of a wide range of organisms with the aim to obtain useful products. Alteration in metabolic profile ultimately changes the phenotype  and overall behavior of a cell. Large-scale genome sequencing and transcriptome data have provided clue regarding the complex regulation of metabolic pathways . Existing metabolism is altered by engineering pathway principally by introducing foreign coding sequences. Primary and secondary metabolic pathways with its regulator have been characterized over the years. Metabolomic tools such as HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS, MALDI-TOF, MS-TOF, and LC-NMR have been useful for qualitative and quantitative analysis of individual metabolite . Here, we discuss some feasible strategies to engineer plant by the application of synthetic biology.Synthetic biology techniques are newly emerged fabrication methods for biomaterials that genetically modify the sequence and structure of protein-based biomaterials. It is expected that this new technology may provide both rational and evolutionary strategies for developing innovative biomaterials toward orthopedic applications [3]. Although only a few examples have been demonstrated, it is believed that synthetic biology may help to create ideal biomaterials for orthopedics and musculoskeletal engineering in the near future. In recent research, for example, Zhong et al
