Forensic Medicine is the branch of medicine dealing with the application of medical knowledge to establish facts in civil or criminal legal cases, such as an investigation into the cause and time of a suspicious death. Forensic Medicine has always played a vital role in the crime investigation and helped in many ways for the case solving, culprit detection and investigation. Journal of Forensic Medicine is the research work of application of medical knowledge to the investigation of crime. Forensic medicine focuses on determining why somebody died. It is the application of medical knowledge to a criminal investigation, particularly in establishing time and cause of death. Forensic medicine is also the application of medical knowledge to determine the causes of injury.
