Cell Signalling Journals

Cell signaling is a process through which living cells interact with the cellular environment and neighbouring cells. Cells contain Glycoproteins or Glycolipids as receptors on their plasma membrane which detects the signals. When a complementary ligand (signaling molecule) comes and binds to the receptor, it initiates a chain of reactions within the cell, ultimately leading to a response.

The Journal of Cell Signaling is a peer reviewed journal. This journal offers an open access platform for authors to publish their research. The Journal of cell signaling is an open access journal which mainly focuses on effector systems, such as protein kinases, lipid signaling pathways, cyclic nucleotide signaling processes, NO signaling and ion channels. The production, regulation, degradation and action of second messengers; the structure, regulation, degradation and action of receptors; Guanine nucleotide regulatory proteins; Bio-informatics studies related to cell signaling mechanisms; Compartmentalization/compartmentation of signaling systems; Anchor/scaffold signaling proteins; The effect of cellular signaling events on the functioning, growth and differentiation of cells in normal and pathological states and also cellular oncogenes.
